About this event
Magh Bihu (Bhogali Bihu) — Assam's harvest festival marking the end of the harvesting season.
Uruka (the eve) brings community feasts around bhelaghars, followed by dawn Meji bonfires, traditional sports like buffalo fights and egg fights, and plenty of pitha, laru and doi-sira.
Celebrated across every neighbourhood of Guwahati and along the Brahmaputra sandbars.
