The Chandubi Festival — held every year in the first week of January at the scenic Chandubi Lake, about 60 km from Guwahati at the foothills of the Garo Hills.
Celebrates the culture of the Rabha and other communities living around the lake: traditional dance and music, ethnic food stalls, boating, angling, and local handicrafts.
