Visitor Tips

Bring binoculars if you have them — many birds sit far on open water. Go early; heat haze and traffic both worsen later. Do not expect a manicured national-park visitor centre at every edge. Respect fishing communities and private land. Carry out all plastic; wetlands already take urban pressure. Monsoon and poor light reduce the “postcard” but not always the interest.
